Youtube is now the second largest search engine after Google itself. Video has become an important internet marketing tool and you, like everyone else must start using Youtube to promote your product.
You will notice that Invention Therapy doesn’t just focus on your invention idea, prototyping and manufacturing. This is because as an inventor, you have to be much more than a Geppetto slaving away in a workshop to make widgets. Mass producing widgets that you can sell is only the first part to earning a living as a full time inventor.
Marketing is the key to any successful invention.
It does’t matter if you are trying to raise funds from investors or selling your products online. Either way, you will need to produce high-quality materials for your promotional campaigns. There are many forms of marketing from print ads, billboards, radio, television, online search, banner ads, social media and yes, video.
In addition to video marketing, there are many other less known types of marketing campaings including Quora and Pinterest.
Combining all forms of online and offline marketing offers the biggest potential for you as an inventor and selling your products over the interent or directly to the customer.
Quora isn’t the only form of advertising that you can use as an inventor to market your products. There are many more that we will be discussing throughout this website and on our Youtube Invention Therapy Channel.
Using Youtube to promote your product.
Coming up with a good invention idea is a bit more complicated than simply having an idea and filing for a patent if you plan to make any money with your invention. DO NOT get fooled by all those people and invention companies telling you that they will help license your idea to industry. In most cases, it will never happen and they will just take your money and leave you with what you started with…. just an invention idea and no final product or prototype.
Are you ready to become an inventor?
Getting your idea out of your head and into your hands is only the first in a long set of steps towards becoming a successful inventor.
